Why I can't increase the dose?

I have noticed over time that my values are below half the range, whether I take, ndt or synthetic. My endo thinks I could increase the dose but I don't feel well if I push the dose over the 125mcg levo(and some T3) or 3grains ndt Thyroid-s. My ft4 and ft3 are less than half.

Vits and minerals are ok, I take everyday D3, iron, B12, Omega3 and metformin. However, I have over 20 kg extra, fatigue, and other symptoms of hypo. So it's clear that something isn't working.

How can I fix it?

Try splitting your dose. This lessen the spike. I have always split my levo dose - now it is twice but at one time I took it in 3 doses.

I take everyday D3, iron, B12, Omega3 and metformin.

Do you take them all together? Do you take vit C with the iron, and magnesium and vit K2-MK7 with the vit D? And a B complex with the B12?

Hi greygoose, I don't take C and magnesium in the summer. I take the iron and B12 apart from D3(low dose 2oooui) and omega3, -3, 4 hours after I ingest the levo.

Summer or winter has no bearing on your need for vit C and magnesium. The vit C helps you absorb the iron, and protects your stomach. Magnesium and vit D work together and need each other. Taking vit D without magnesium will deplete your magnesium and the vit D will not be as active as it should be.

Are you saying you take the B12 with the iron? If so, you won't have been absorbing much B12 because the the iron will block it. Iron should be taken two hours apart from everything else, apart from vit C (and 4 hours away from thyroid hormone). But, you could take the vit D and the B12 - plus the B complex, which is vitally important - could be taken together. :)

Hi, my tsh is supresed, 0,098, ft4 15,6(12-22) and ft3 4,3(3,6-6,8)

It would seem that the tsh is very low … however your t4 and t3 are within « normal » range so I agree with you that increasing the dose of thyroxine may not be a good idea.
