After really struggling with my health for a period of years, I’d finally been getting back on track after taking a relatively high dose of Thybon Henning liothyronine.
However, it now seems that there are real issues with UK pharmacies getting stock and I’m finding myself unable to fulfil my prescription. I had been using Chemist 4U, however they are saying it will be end of the month.
Does anyone know of anywhere else which might have stock currently? As an alternative, if I could access a different form of T3, such as Tiromel, would this be compatible with my current medication?
Thanks!

I spoke to a private hospital’s pharmacy this week. They said - and I only asked speculatively ie. haven’t placed an order - that 100 tablets would cost somewhere between £400 - £ 500.
Are thyroid charities finding out about the supply of this viral medication, on patients’ behalf? Can anyone here who is an admin tell us whether they are?
If you want to know which private hospital i spoke to, I can tell you. Did he know the reason for stock being so low?
I used to think (pre Brexit) that sufficient quantities of stock was something pharmacies and the NHS monitored and put right, but recent years have disabused me of that quaint view.
