Lump. Between my collarbone

Hazelkeitel88, This is a patient to patient support forum for people with thyroid disorders. No-one here is medically qualified. To find out the cause of the swelling in your neck, you really do need to have a doctor examine you properly, and maybe do some blood tests.
Hi,
I've had similar symptoms to you and I suffer from hypothyroidism. My doctor has sent me for a scan and other tests to find out what is the cause of the lump and feeling of discomfort in my neck. I am still waiting for the results. I echo what RedApple says, you cannot just Google an answer, you need to see a doctor to be safe.
Hi Hazel:), What state are you in? Is there a medicaid website or telephone number you could research or ring about getting medi caid? Since you don't have insurance for whatever reason? Or maybe there is a free clinic you might feel comfortable going to in your area? If it is something, The sooner you get diagnosed and treated the better:). I know you know:). Just some ideas...:). Many ERs will sign you up for Medicaid when you go to them because you don't have insurance. AND get you in with a primary. It may be worth a phone call to your nearest ER to inquire.
I don't personally like to go to the GP but sometimes it's a good idea.
Hello Hazel!
Have you resolved this? Was this healed? I have mine & it started about a week & half ago. 😞 What is this?
