just when I touch it, kind of tender right near the centre but on the end of the left hand side, also generally achey on my shoulders and arms, it's been like this for a few days now, no lumps swelling or redness in the area at all seems odd, anyone else? Getting paranoid about health issues these days too!

Collarbone hurts
Hi Gillybean
All the bones in my chest are tender when I touch and right top of shoulder feels though I have been punched in it.
I wake every night with shocking pain in the shoulder and arm.
Like you I am also getting paranoid about my health.
I wonder if it part of the illness and will hopefully subside when on optimal treatment.
Have you had your Vit D levels checked? I found that aches and pains improved considerably when I got my levels up.
No but I am taking Vitamin D
You should get checked out by the docs for peace of mind.
best test first really, if you are Vit D deficient you can eliminate that... a home test costs £25 here (if your GP won't do it) vitamindtest.org.uk/
my aches/pains have eased but it did take a while, my shin pain got worse to start. J
I get pains too around my neck and shoulders but they are due to tight muscles. I see an osteopath regularly who loosens things up for me. If what you are experiencing is what I get, there will be knot of muscle which you need to release - it's quite uncomfortable but the aches in arms and shoulders are all related to the neck.
It's weird, my left side of neck hurts and also my right arm when I lift, also my hands always hurt me like the joints are swollen, I only notice at night, if I wake up (that's if I get to sleep) and in the morning I never ever feel refreshed just lousy all over.
Sounds very similar to what I get. I also don't like lifting my right arm - certain movements e.g. taking a sweater off over my head are uncomfortable. But other movements with that arm are OK. My osteopath says it's tendonitis and massage will help, also correct vitamin D levels. If it's frozen shoulder you wouldn't be able to lift it at all without pain, I think.
Could it be the start of a frozen shoulder? Quite common in hypothyroidism ☺☺
Hmm on the back of my mind too... tends to be with Hyper symptoms 'tho .....(I had 2 frozen shoulders)
