A week after emailing GP with info given to me here I had a call from receptionist to book a double appointment with a phlebotomist though I had to wait 3 weeks for the appointment. I had the blood drawn at 9.30 am on friday 27th may after she phoned someone at the lab to tell them to watch out for the sample. T3 and vitamin D were included in the testing. I had my last dose of levo at 9.30 am on the 26th and nothing to eat or drink apart from water before the draw. I still haven't had the results . I went to the surgery on wednesday afternoon to get my levo prescription and they still gave me 125mcg after saying I should reduce to 100 and I asked if my blood results were back yet. I was told they were but the doctor hadn't looked at them yet but the previous month I had a call after 2 days telling me to reduce my dose. I don't know what is going on, I know the GP's are still working from home but surely they still see lab results.

You had your blood draw on Friday 27th May, presumably it arrived at the lab the same day and may have been tested that day.
You went to the surgery on Wednesday afternoon - 1st June and the GP had not yet looked at the results.
GPs weren't working on Thursday/Friday - 2nd/3rd June - due to the extended jubilee bank holiday so if the GP hadn't looked at them by Wednesday afternoon there would be no GP working on Thursday/Friday to check them.
I expect you may get a phone call tomorrow or Tuesday, if not chase up.
Our surgery was open on thursday. Different locations had different bank holidays, I'm in Scotland on the Fife side so not even sure if they will be open monday, there's nothing on their website to say whether they will be open or not. I will chase it up on wednesday if I haven't heard from them. I'm certain it arrived at the lab on the day of the draw and think that's what the phone call to the lab was about. It's just the waiting and wondering that's getting to me now.
In Scotland do you have the NHS app, as my blood results appear on that the day after my blood draw. Often I have viewed them before the GP.
In Leicestershire we have a thyroid register that look after our thyroxine results. My last set they phoned me the same day as my blood were so dire.
I don't have the app. I used to have the online facility but back in 2020 something went wrong with that. For some reason I couldn't log in and was prompted to create a knew security word but when I did it wouldn't accept it. The surgery gave me a knew set of ID to create a knew account but it wasn't accepted as an account already existed. I gave up in the end. My annual blood test in april showed a problem and they called me 2 days later just as was common practice before we went into lockdown
I have both the NHS app and the GP online facility, but my results only appear if uploaded by either GP or consultant. I actually had a consultant appointment this morning, to discuss bloods taken 2 weeks ago, but I had to ask about the results as they have not yet been posted. I was assured they would be in my copy of the report!!
Our online facility only ever had appointments and never had blood results. I mentioned to my local pharmacist that I heard about an NHS card for discount at supermarkets on gluten free food and her reply was Scotland hasn't caught up with that yet, they still issue prescriptions and the food isn't nice at all. I guess it's the same with blood results here too. Our NHS is different to England.
