New blood results 🤦‍♀️

Hi everyone ❤️

So to recap on my last post: gp along with endo reduced my T3 from 40mg to 30mg...on these results ( TSH.. 0.05)..( T3.. 6.6) results after 8wk on reduction (TSH.. 23.47)..(T3..1.5)..(T4..2.50) this is obviously hypo now) as some on here might know I'm fighting with the endo and gp on my parathyroid hormones /calcium being over range and the endo saying I probably have primary hyperparathiyroidism, but after one normal blood test as dismissed me😩.. With the gp saying all my symptoms are down to my T3 meds.. ( symptoms are actually parathyroid related as I'm urinating constantly, are very thirsty, server headaches, bone pain and horrible bone vibrations, constipation ect) the decrease in T3 made no difference to my above symptoms, so I agreed to a 7wk trial on T4 teva, knowing the side affects I had the last time I was on T4 teva would return, they have!!! Bad bowle /stomach inflammation very loose mud like bowles with tremendous cramping and server headache ( fillers in this drug) I had my bloods done on the 16th March gp as just rang with my new blood results..firstly surgery refused the full thyroid pannle T3, T4, TSH..) only doing the TSH..now at (6.4) after 7wks on the T4 teva, I went on to explain how this drug is affecting me as it did bk in 2019 when my bloods were dire.. I find the longer I'm on it the worse I become eventually vomiting as I have the last week or so.. So eventually I will not get enough of the drug in my system for it to work, she as said.... "I will refer you to an endocrinologist as only the endocrinology can do a full thyroid blood panel ( this is crap as my last bloods before the ones done on the 16th March were a full thyroid panel) OK I said but what do I do in the meantime in waiting for the appointment as taking the T4 teva are making me very ill... Her response.. Just take a small amount ie 25mg..ever other day.. And wait for the endo appointment... WOW!!! this is unbelievable.. Great health care in the year 2022😠.. I now want to contact PAL'S.. But the last time I did that the lady I spoke to told me if your gp as referred you to a specialist you can't complain as they are acting upon your concerns, so I think I'll get the same response if I contact them... Honestly can't believe how we get treated by these professionals 😠😠😠😠

I’m so sorry for the way you’ve been treated. GPs seem to have very little knowledge about thyroid dysfunction etc and are no help whatsoever. She should be contacting your Endo for advice. They have no idea how debilitating the symptoms are.

HiTo be honest the endo she contacted advice her to decrease the T3... So really its both their faults, in my mind the levels were OK.. T3.. 6.6..TSH..0.05) but because I'm having symptoms of primary hyperparathiyroidism, urinating constantly, very thirsty, bone pain, bone vibration, constipatio ect, the gp jumped on these symptoms as over medicated along with the endo, god knows why they can't separate the 2, ie over medicated and primary hyperparathiyroidism, 🤦‍♀️.. So contacting this endo for advice would be futile, I'm hoping I don't get this endo when my appointment comes through, I will be discussing all my problems since thyroidectomy in 2019 and primary hyperparathiyroidism since 2020..hooe his/her brain can cope 😄🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
