Many thanks to all who replied to Glenmark enquiry and whether nodules dealt with by e.n.t. or endocrinology.

Getting dealt with by a locum at g.p. surgery who qualified in Ukraine and comes from that neck of the woods. Her name is Eastern European. She doesn't seem to know anything about how the NHS functions in the UK, and admits knows zero about nodules. Her spoken English is excellent, but don't know how much she actually understands communication wise.e.g. she thinks if you ask to go onto a cancellation list, you are cancelling your appointment, rather than trying to get a quicker appointment by accepting an appointment someone else has cancelled. I asked for the name of Endo she spoke to and she said Louis, which I thought was a man. It is actually Louise, and a she. This in itself is becoming a big problem. I can't tell how knowledgeable she actually is.

Oh dear. I have every sympathy for all those displaced people from the Ukraine but your experience is worrying. Your conclusion is right, how do you judge how knowledgeable she is as a Dr. particularly as you are entrusting your health to her?
