Advice please on blood results RE: changing Levo to NDT

Hi guys,

Further to my last post on struggling with Levo to NDT I have been asked to post my blood results…done in January!

No thyroid

Just realised they didn’t test Vit D but was taking better for you Vit d spray with K2 at the time… just trying their Vit d without K2 as had bad experience when trying similar amount of “Nature Providers” caused dreadful hallucinations/hearing things…really common thing for me unfortunately… same with lots of meds and thyroid hormones… really sensitive😫

B12 591 (197.0-771.0)

Folate 8.9 sample slightly haemolysed- result may be falsely increased (deficient if <3.9 ug/L) exact wording!!

Ferritin 52 (30.0-400.0) Ferritin may be elevated due to inflammatory response and therefore not reflect iron stores…. Exact wording!

Had to have a repeat test two wks after but only tested ESR which was 26 (1.00-15.0) but apparently ok said to be expected - maybe fibro arthritis etc ??? it is always high… am I right in thinking this is inflammation marker? Rheumatoid factor ok level 10 (0.0-15.0)

On another note my eGFR 60ml/min/1.73^2 this is up from September 21 which was 51 GP keeps an eye on this… CKD Since couple ops in 2015 to remove stubborn stones! Apparently got one kidney bigger than the other but don’t think anything to worry about as one compensates the other… do wonder though if this could affect sensitivity to meds/ hormones!!

Sorry gone off thyroid… just general question if any of you amazing people might be able to help!

I to am struggling with thyroid meds( no thyroid) like you my kidney tests are abnormal with eGFR, creatine nearly always out of range.. I've passed several kidney stones , I have fibro and ostio arthritis, I have a bad sensitivity to meds also but we're diagnosed in 2020 with probable primary hyperparathiyroidism then dismissed after one normal blood test... Do you get your calcium checked if so what was it? What is your albumin looking like to as mine is nearly always over range, because I was starting to feel unwell again in 2020 couldn't see anything wrong with thyroid results but calcium was over range then parathyroid was over range to, just something for you to consider as many GPS don't test calcium or parathyroid regularly, hope you get sorted soon ❤️
