Magnesium Query

Hi,

I am looking to supplement magnesium & after reading some very helpful information on this forum, I think I need magnesium malate to help with muscle & joint pain & fatigue.

Could anyone please recommend a brand or dosage as there are so many to choose from online!

I buy Solgar from Amazon it’s Non-GMO Gluten, wheat and dairy free. Been taking it for years without any issues Im finding magnesium hard to find in stores since covid.

I use magnesium citrate or magnesium glycinate by pure encapsulations. Seems to work for me. I buy on line.

Hi Ann

I'm currently taking Best Immune 500mg magnesium malate capsules which I got from Amazon.

Muscle & joint pain seems to be improving a little but whether this is solely due to the magnesium or a combination of getting my levo dose and other supplements right too, I'm not sure!

I was a bit bewildered by the different types of magnesium and their benefits which is why I asked the question on this amazing forum.I reckoned that malate was what I needed but as you say, there are so many to pick from with different dosages, it's hard to decide which is best.

I'll stick with malate but maybe research the dosage & ingredients before buying my next lot!
