Underactive Thyroid and LVH

Hi all, I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable people are aware if there is any link between underactive thyroid and LVH.

I have underactive thyroid and have recently been diagnosed with Borderline LVH following Echocardiogram. I know there is a link between high Blood Pressure and LVH, but my BP is normal. So am just thinking whether it could be related to Hypothyroidism.

Any thoughts or insight appreciated.

Yes of course, apologies all. Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, I understand it to be enlargening and hardening of one of the walls of the heart.

What are your most recent thyroid results and ranges

Thanks SD for your reply and the link. It seems then there is potentialy a link to my low FT3. GP was attempting to start me on a blood pressure tablet, however I have resisted as my BP is usually normal. I indulged her with a week of Blood Pressure testing at home, which 4 days in is showing my BP as normal. It is useful to have some info on other potential causes, other than high BP and this is perfect. Thanks again.
