It's not a good idea to take iron unless you've had an iron panel done to see if your actual iron level is low. Ferritin is your iron store.. You can have good serum iron and saturation levels but low ferritin, and if you take iron it can take your serum iron and saturation too high. Too much iron is as bad as too little.
You can help raise your level by eating liver regularly, maximum 200g per week due to it's high Vit A content, also liver pate, black pudding, and including lots of iron rich foods in your diet

As for Vit D, the Vit D Society and Grassroots Health recommend a level of 100-150nmol/L, with a recent blog post on Grassroots Health mentioning a study which recommends over 125nmol/L. Your level isn't too bad at 87nmol/L. We are coming up to the summer months now and you may be one of those people who make Vit D easily from the sun. Have you had Vit D tested before to know whether your level has changed?
If those were my results I'd want Active B12 over 100. Do you take a B Complex?
Thank you for replying, my vit d levels last July were 43 range 50-140 but have been taking vit d spray, I dont take any B complex, do you think I should take one? Will try and up my iron rich foods as you have suggested, thank you
How much Vit D are you taking? Possibly need 2,000iu daily until it goes over 100 then find your maintenance dose.
Are you also taking D3's important cofactors? D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and Vit K2-MK7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be deposited and cause problems such as hardening of the arteries, kidney stones, etc. 90-100mcg K2-MK7 is enough for up to 10,000iu D3. Magnesium helps D3 to work. We need magnesium so that the body utilises D3, it's required to convert Vit D into it's active form, and large doses of D3 can induce depletion of magnesium. So it's important we ensure we take magnesium when supplementing with D3.
Magnesium comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds if taking magnesium as tablets/capsules, no necessity if using topical forms of magnesium.

I would take a B Complex with your level of Active B12. My suggestion is Thorne Basic B, it has bioavailable active ingredients (methylcobalamin and methylfolate) and 1 capsule should help raise your B12 and although you haven't got a folate result it will help raise or maintain that too.
When taking a B Complex we should leave this off for 3-7 days before any blood test because it contains biotin and this gives false results when biotin is used in the testing procedure (which most labs do).
