Could I up my T3

I am totally devastated with news of my daughter in law with a poor prognosis of a cancer . All in a matter of weeks the news shocked me rigid . Two little boys to help thru this .

Can’t sleep because of a thudding heart throughout the night .

I have T3 to hand snd have never had high result in the range .

Any help on maybe trying an increase to calm these strong heart beats . Mostly at night only .

I am sorry to hear of your sad news.

However, stress can do weird things to our bodies and unless FT3 levels were actually low I wouldn’t advocate medicating more just to elevate the stress.

Supporting the adrenals with healthy eating, good sleep, etc will hopefully give you the strength you need to help your daughter-in-law & grandchildren whilst keeping yourself well.

Hi, really sorry to hear the news. It can’t be easy.

One thing I would say is T3 made me extra emotional when I suffered a family bereavement.

We are all different and therefore it’s worth watching out for if you find you get more intense mood swings on T3.

Best of luck, I can imagine it’s very tough but you have a great set of friends on this forum who will all be happy to assist in any way they can.

Thanks both for your input .I guess no easy answers to these sort of sadnesses that come along in life .

I am trying to find a place in my mind to relax and help me be strong for them .

It’s all I can do ,

Probably messing with T3 could further upset things !
