I have lost 16 Kgs in less than 100 days. I have GI issues - Post Parandial bowel movement (3-4 days every day), burning in upper abdomen, dull/gnawing pain in left of abdomen every day. I was diagnosed to have IBS - D. I also have sinus tachycardia. I am of late sweating in forehead. I am also having severe anxiety.
My thyroid profile readings from November are: TT4 - 81 nmol/L; TSH - 1.09 mIU/L; Free Thyroxine - 15.9 pmol/L; Free T3 - 4.6 pmol/L; Thyroglobulin Antibody 12.9 IU/mL; Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies - <9 IU/ML;
at end of December the marker values are: TT4 - 91 nmol/L; TSH - 2.11 mIU/L; T3 - 94 ng/dl.
I am being treated for IBS. but given my weight loss, tachycardia (along with orthostatic hypotension/tachycardia symptoms), i want to rule out Painless Subacute Thyroiditis. Do you think, with these values, i should get serum values for Thyroglobulin, TSHR-ab given TSH, T3, T4, TPO-ab, Tg-ab don't seem to suggest Graves and Painful SAT. BTW, i don't have pain or lump in the neck.
