I have just received an email from AmazonSmile saying
This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your chosen charity, Thyroid UK, recently received a quarterly donation of £247.99 from AmazonSmile, thanks to customers shopping at smile.amazon.co.uk or with AmazonSmile turned ON in the app.
Me too!
And it continues...
To date, Amazon has donated a total of:
£2,258.67 to Thyroid UK
A tidy sum, for a few clicks!
I would encourage TUK members to consider joining because "every little helps!"
I also use Amazon Smile and so does my son who buys quite a lot from Amazon for his business, obviously TUK is our designated charity.
Easyfundraising is another option if you don't use Amazon, just nominate TUK as your charity and go through Easyfundraising to get a donation, there are over 5,000 online retailers registered with them including Ebay, M&S, John Lewis and lots of other big names
It's a really painless way to donate to TUK, I got the amazon email too. If everyone on here joined in I am sure it would make a huge difference to TUK funds. make it a New year resolution.
I don’t buy loads of stuff, but have had TUK as my charity for a long time now. I ask family and friends to do this too if they have no preferred charity.
