Splitting dose

Hi,I started taking 25mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg t3 before I go to bed just over a week ago.The last 3 days I,ve had a bad headache and feeling a bit brain foggy.Should I percivere and see how I go...I take 50mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg of t3 in the morning about 8am,then 5mcg of t3 at 3pm,then the 25mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg t3 at 11 before i go to bed...

Results from 2 months ago

Tsh...0.09 (0.27- 4.2)

T3...5.07 (3.1- 6.8 )

T4...12.600 (12.22)

These are my results since I upt my dose from 50mcg thyroxine to 75mcg. I am still on 15mcg of t3.

So still on same dose, but splitting levothyroxine into two doses and splitting T3 into 3 doses

50mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg of t3 in the morning about 8am,

5mcg of t3 at 3pm

25mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg t3 at 11pm

Suggest you retest in 6-8 weeks see how results and symptoms are then

Remember test as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Last 5mcg dose T3 8-12 hours before test

Headaches are apparently common when taking T3, my consultant advised to take ... I've forgotten what, but a simple pain-killer.

I,ve been on t3 for quite a while now, I thought it might due to taking it last thing at night with the thyroxine as I,ve never done that before.Hopefully it will sort itself out after a while. Thanks for your reply.🎅

Ah sorry, I thought the headaches had come with the introduction of T3, probably didn't read your post carefully enough. If you wake with a headache and it eases off as the day goes on please go back to your GP.
