Hi again, I got my bloodwork back and am interested in your thoughts before I see my doctor. I went off all thyroid meds early this past summer (for years I'd been on 25 mg T4 and 10 mg T3) and got very sick, including mono. In retrospect, I think I was under-medicated for years and that going off those small doses (along with the C19 vaccine) was the last straw for my immune system.
I'm currently up to 50 mg of T4 (Levo) and 25 mg of T3 (Lio) and here are my results:
TSH: <0.07 (range 0.27 - 4.2)
Free T4: 1.0 (range 0.9 - 2.1)
Free T3: 4.7 (range 2.0-4.4)
No Hashimoto's
I didn't take any T3 or T4 for 24 hours before my test.
I had full bloodwork about two months ago but they forgot to test any thyroid but TSH (which was 0.07 with range 0.34 - 5.6 when I was taking 25 mg T4 and 20 mg T3), and all B12, irons, D3, etc. looked great.
My doctor when I was first diagnosed about 5 years ago thought I wasn't converting T4 to T3 well, but she never prescribed more than 25mg T4. I'm feeling much better on 50 mg this past month and am thinking about asking to increase it and possibly decrease T3.
Would appreciate any thoughts -- thank you!

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
On day before blood test, split T3 into 3 smaller doses, at roughly equal 8 hour intervals, taking last 1/3rd of daily dose approx 8-12 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
As you took last dose T3 24 hours before test your Ft3 result is falsely low. If had split dose day before as recommended, Ft3 result would have been even higher
So yes, would agree you probably need to reduce T3 by 1/4 tablet (6.25mcg) and increase levothyroxine by 25mcg
Do you normally split your T3?
Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after each dose change or brand change in levothyroxine or T3
When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
