I live in Portugal, and have been on T3 for many many years. It used to be produced here but hasn’t been for some time.

However, our doctors can give us a special prescription for Thybon Henning and a number of lisbon Farmacia’s dispense it.

It is €28,40 for 100 tablets.

You must have an official prescription that is issued by a Portuguese doctor. You can’t get T3 without one.

PM me for the main pharmacy that have it stocked in Lisbon.

Hi

Do you have a prescription from a Portuguese doctor ?

Thanks for your reply. I don’t have. PT Dr yet, but will. We are in process of renovating a house in Algarve and are uncertain of move date…when we first move, I was planning on using a private clinic in Vale de Lobo until we are established. Any thoughts?

While I can understand why you have asked on this thread, it often helps to make a brand new post - but reference relevant older threads.

As it happens, we had a related thread just the other day:

Trying to find T3 in Portugal or EU

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Maybe Priss23 would be able to add some recent information?

Thank you so much. I’m brand new to how these forums work. Thx for your direction and patience.

No-one is born knowing these things!

The problems are when the replies get muddled up - whether they refer to the original poster and their replies - or the member who has added their question. Though that is unlikely in this case. And that replies posted on older threads are often simply missed.

You can call out (also called "mention") other members by typing @ p r i s s 2 3 (but without spaces) - and you should see a popup with that name in a list - click on that and the name changes to blue - and that member gets alerted that you mentioned them.
