T3 Brand Change

Have just collected repeat prescription of T3 after small increase. Have always had Morningside but the 2 packets I've just collected are Teva - these 2 packets are to maintain continuity until regular (updated) repeat is dispensed. (I'm hoping the normal repeat in 2 weeks time will be the usual Morningside). I feel slightly uneasy at having a different brand - and especially Teva, with previous negative posts about this brand. This is more of a "what would you do"? I'm grateful to have T3 prescribed and don't want to jeapordise supply, but am also hesitant to blindly go ahead with this change, which might also lead to the next lot being Teva! I presume Teva is cheaper. Grateful for any of your thoughts.

Almost all the negative comments about Teva are about their Levothyroxine - not their Liothyronine.

Not always as clear as they might be.

I would consider changing as soon as practical while you still have some Morningside. That would let you switch back if you do have issues and give a time window for getting the issue resoilved.

Oh thank you so much for your speedy reply. Just what I needed. I will start the Teva brand and see how it goes.

I have had Teva with no bad effects. I usually have morning side and didn't find any difference when I had to take Teva.
