Hi there

I have recently had some blood tests done for fatigue, dry eyes, bad very itchy and inflamed dermatitis, crumbling flakey ridged finger nails, head aches, foggy head and poor memory these days.

I would love some help with the results if possible, many thanks :-

B12 157ng/L

TSH 2.76 mu/L(0.3-5.0)

T4 10.7 pmol/L (7.9-16.0)

Ferritin 64 ng/mL (15.0-300)

Folate 3.5 ug/L (2.5-9999.0)

Many thanks :)

This is NHS test …so serum B12? What’s the range on B12?

Usually it’s 180-780 or similar

Assuming this is serum B12 (not a private test for active B12)

B12 is extremely low

You need full testing for Pernicious Anaemia before starting on LOADING B12 injections

Low B12 symptoms

b12deficiency.info/signs-an...

Folate very low, but GP likely to ignore as its within range (just)

Do NOT start any B vitamins until had further testing via GP

Come back with new post once you have seen GP …

Are you vegetarian or vegan?

You need vitamin D tested too …likely low

NHS easy postal kit vitamin D test £29 via

vitamindtest.org.uk

As you have Endometriosis, autoimmune thyroid disease is more likely

Have you had TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested

If not, get tested

If both antibodies are low look at ultrasound scan of thyroid

20% of Hashimoto's patients never have raised antibodies

Thats great thank you for all your help. I am not taking any vitamins etc as Im am trying to get the truest readings possible..I am going to get some private blood tests done using Blue Horizon. I t has been a real fight with my GP to get these bloods done. I am quite upset atm as I really do not feel well and its getting worse, and my mum is concerned I have PA like her grandmother. He refused to retest my Vitamin D, and I have been deficient since 2013.

So I am very grateful for your time and guidance.
