I have been taking liothyronine sodium for several years. Could I safely and effectively take Henning for a while?
Henning Thybon: I have been taking liothyronine... - Thyroid UK
Henning Thybon
Many people have swapped from one of the other liothyronine products to Thybon Henning - or back. Some feel there is a little difference but they are effectively interchangeable.
Yes. I find it better than liothyronine sodium, it seems as effective but more gentle. I wonder if liothyronine hydrochloride (Thybon) has a better (slower) absorption rate.
I prefer ThyBon Henning 20mcg to any other Liothyronine I’ve taken. Could be to do with being produced with hydrochloride rather than the rest from sodium.
The only way to know is to try it. Some people prefer it. I personally can’t take it as I had an allergic reaction to it but I haven’t been able to find any T3 that I can tolerate yet but that’s just me, I’m a mess ☹️
Does ThyBon Henning require a prescription in Germany? Thanks.
Hi, I made the switch to thybon henning over two years ago. I had reservations about the different formulation. I was having problems with the brand I was taking. I think because it's strength varied with each batch but within legal tollerances. I could not cope with the constant variations. I am vegetarian and required a vegetarian tablet. My only option was a switch to Thybon Henning at that time.. I have had no problems at all with taking it. I am ultra sensitive to dose variations and mixers used. I have found that it is consistently the same strength which is absolutely essential to me. I had no trouble making the switch. I would not switch back!!
Good luck.
