Hi, check your waterline in your eyes and your gums regarding iron. If they are very pale it's a good indication of low iron. It's mentioned in one of the comments about ferritin iron, it's not one of the blood tests they do routinely. I know this because they wasn't going to give my daughter one, but it showed on her results her blood cells were low and abnormal so they did it. She did have low ferritin and was treated. As suggested get your results as it may show your abnormal but still not going to be treated. Treating iron yourself is not to be taken lightly as too much can be dangerous. I know how you feel about the hair loss as its something I suffer from too. Take care
