Has anyone any experience with homeopathy with hypothyroid? I know you can aim to replace thyroxine with thyroidinum and have read studies that show good results. Would love to hear if anyone has experience with it. Thank you.

Homeopathy for Hashimotos
Didn't help me. And, thyroidinum cannot replace levo because it isn't a hormone. Levo is the thyroid hormone T4 - thyroid hormone replacement. You can only replace a hormone with a hormone. Homeopathic doctors themselves say that whilst they might be able to help a bit easing symptoms, they cannot repair the thyroid and they cannot replace thyroid hormone replacement.
I had a horrendous experience with a homeopath about 4 years ago. I'm on T3 only & I was getting very nervous that the NHS would stop my prescriptions. The homeopath was insistent that he could make up T3 tablets. He told me to replace my T3 with his tablets. To cut a long story short, I became extremely ill within a month and didn't improve my health for a good 8 months. So my advice is to stay away
There is no scientific basis at all behind homeopathy.
There may be a placebo or Hawthorne effect experienced with it, due to the attention a homeopath will give you, and the body is wonderful at curing itself where it can, but homeopathic remedies themselves are completely ineffective.
And equally, of themselves, are entirely harmless; but if homeopathic treatment is adopted instead of proper medical treatment, then, depending on the condition being treated, this can be actively dangerous for the patient.
I have used homeopathy for many conditions in humans and dogs, but I have never found it helpful for any hormone deficiency. Maybe it depends on the cause?
