Following on from opening post

So you have no thyroid (complete thyroidectomy)

GP reduced levothyroxine by massive 50mcg after thyroid results that showed TSH at 0.29 and Ft3 well within range

And now your very unwell ….hardly surprising.

Were these vitamin results from before dose was reduced

Ferritin folate and B12 all slightly low

No vitamin D

Likely much lower since dose reduction

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Suggest you get retested thyroid and vitamins…..come back with new post once you get results

So autoimmune Graves’ disease

You might want to consider trialing strictly gluten free diet …if not already gluten free

Before considering trial on gluten free diet get coeliac blood test done FIRST just to rule it out

lloydspharmacy.com/products...

If you test positive for coeliac, will need to remain on gluten rich diet until endoscopy (officially 6 weeks wait)

If result is negative can consider trialing strictly gluten free diet for 3-6 months. Likely to see benefits. Can take many months for brain fog to lift.

If no obvious improvement, reintroduce gluten see if symptoms get worse.

Was tested for coeliac etc had gastroscopy may 2021

only 5% thyroid patients are coeliac

majority of thyroid patients are gluten intolerant not coeliac …….The only way to know if that includes you is to try it

But only try one thing at a time

So wait at least 3 months after any major dose change levothyroxine etc

Or adding/stopping any new vitamins

Will wait and see
