Looking for some help. Had first AZ Vax 10 days ago was well before it but first night got pains in legs and woke up with fatigue trembling muscles all over and ten days later still as bad. If I try to do anything except lie down I’m all wobbly and trembling muscles and extreme exhaustion very weak. Having read some posts here about thyroid and exertion causing similar symptoms I’m wondering if V could have affected thyroid ( I have hashimoto thyroid also). I will speak again to doc next week to try get bloods checked but just trying to think of things that could be causing this hellish problem so when doc says they don’t know 🤦♀️…. I can suggest things to check

Help with fatigue and trembling muscles
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
Looking at previous posts you had dose increase to 75mcg daily 4 months ago
Presumably you have had levels retested since?
Please add most recent results and ranges
Important to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
Which brand
Approx how much do you weigh in kilo
Guidelines on dose levothyroxine by weight is 1.6mcg per kilo.
Hi Holiday12345
This seems to me to be side effects of the vaccine. This link gives info about the AZ vaccine and side effects.

Is your doctor treating this as vaccine side effects? Yours seem to be going on for too long.
There is a poll on here to keep vaccine posts together. You may find other people's experiences there. It's at.

Would it be useful to call NHS 111?
Further comment - I just googled for '111 NHS covid vaccine'. The vaccine guide leaflet says
'Symptoms following vaccination normally last less than a week. If your symptoms seem to get worse or if you are concerned, call NHS 111.'
I'd do that.
I concur with Helvella; seek treatment immediately (and report to the Yellow Card System). Good luck.
Hi Holiday12345, how are you know. I don't mean to scare you but my mum was as well as could be at her age, and 2 weeks after she got her 2nd Vaccine she suffered a Massive Stroke. I'm convinced the Vaccine caused the Stroke, she had no symptoms off feeling ill the day she suffered the stroke. A shock to me that I will never get over. As with the previous reply I would report your symptoms to the Yellow Card System, you'll find the details off it on the leaflet about the Vaccine. Let us know how you get on, hope you feel better soon.
I’m being seen by doc this evening, many thanks for your reply. I hope your mum is well on the road to recovery. I had two mini strokes last Christmas completely out the blue and I know the difficulties afterwards.
Hi Holiday12345That's great to hear that your getting seen by a Doctor, can't be too careful these days.
Sadly my mum passed away a week after she suffered the Stroke, it was too big for her to survive. I feel like I lost part of my body, I miss her so much more so because we lived with each other.
I hope you get some answers and feel better soon. Take Care & Stay Safe
Thank you for all your replies I wouldn’t have realised to call 111. Which I did this morning and being seen by out of hours doctor this evening.
I was very ill for 12 weeks after my first az had severe head pain nausea double vision slurred speech I was told by 111 to go to A and E 11 days into the symptoms they were ride and dismissed me for time wasting denied the vaccine caused severe side effects...i had no help at all and only after 12 weeks did I feel better not totally even now and that was 6 months ago...not having the 2nd after this...hope they take you seriously and get help
That sounds dreadful. You’re right not to get second one after that. They’re taking my symptoms seriously but I think because of my previous mini strokes rather than possibly being vax related. I’ve been sent to the Acute assessment unit to be checked out which is thankfully not busy like A&E next door. But I fear they won’t have an answer for the symptoms. I hope you improve soon.
I'm so glad you're been listened to. I've had a rough sudden 3 weeks which have all been the same symptoms as cvst the blood clot disorder caused by az I saw a locum doctor through 111 as I was disoriented weak nausea slurred words and after 2 weeks by partner made me see a doctor...dismissed a blood clot almost laughed and said gastric reflux !! Seriously rubbish uninterested and useless...ive changed doctors and will wait to make an appointment
You should report it on the Yellow Card system so when they finish the experimental trials in 2023/25 it will be noted.
Agreed;
If you have, or think you might have, a side effect of a medicine or vaccine that is related to Covid-19/Coronavirus, please consider putting in a Yellow Card report. Whilst I frequently suggest Yellow Card reports, there is a specific page which appears appropriate when it is related:
Coronavirus Yellow Card reporting site
Report suspected side effects to medicines, vaccines or medical device and diagnostic adverse incidents used in coronavirus treatment to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to ensure safe and effective use
I 'm 80 and 9 days after second jab I had a big painful swollen knot of veins at my right knee, my friend, lady of 82 had bad reaction to second jab and had to have antibiotics, and my handyman of 48 had a nighttime seizure after his, lasting 4 to 5 hours, so there are a variety of reactions.Google if you are housebound and see doc or ring up helpline if you can.
Many adverse incidents seem to occur, which, with GPs in difficult to access lock-down, go unreported.
I got sent to the Acute Assessment Unit where they did lots of tests (to get 3 day heart trace next week) and doc actually said it’s a direct result of the vax. They said it should start to ease off now (but I’m not entirely certain they know for sure 🤦♀️). I just hope I’m not left with these symptoms long term. Thank you for your replies I wouldn’t have thought to phone 111
