Can you take your thyroid meds and vitamins when doing a saliva cortisol test?

Hi everyone. I got a saliva Cortisol test and wondered if I can take my thyroid meds and vitamin supplements as normal while doing the test?

Who are you doing your test with and what does it say in the instructions?

Hi Seaside Susie. It's an Irish lab. DNA life, nordic laboratories.It doesn't say anything about thyroid meds on the instructions.

OK, I haven't heard of them so I looked them up.

They appear to be the same as Regenerus and do tell you about vitamins on page 2.

I can't see anything about medication but Regenerus instructions used to say that you continue your essential medication as normal, which is what I do when I do a test.
