I'm not sure if this is a bad thing but my heart rate shoots up so easily when I exercise. It never used to when I felt well but as my health started to decline which seemed to coincide with when I swapped from naturethroid to ERFA my heart rate when exercising is high. I've now swapped to tyromax in the hope that it works better than erfa as I didn't get on well with ERFA or armour but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this? Is it linked to adrenals or is it being under medicated? My body temp is slowly coming up but I do have days if feeling so low in my mood. I have loads of energy but mentally feel drained

No I've not been vaccinated so not sure why it's so high x
I had this too before I was diagnosed. I started doing heart rate based training and found I could manage little more than power-walking without sending my heart rate up to 160bpm when my rhr was about 54.
Once I was diagnosed it was a relief so I simply stopped exercising because it was making me worse not better.
I am really curious to see if it happens once I'm optimally medicated.
Hi wellnesswarrior1I have the same. I used to run a lot and have been trying to get back into it. But the slightest run and my heart rate rockets. My thyroid seems to be under control now. My sleep is better, I don't have the same joint and muscle pain and my mood and mental health all seem much better. I appear to have my mojo back! The heart rate thing annoys me though. I feel like it's going to explode. I still have fatigue and tiredness so have had ferritin and folate tested recently and folate very low. I'm wondering if that might be the cause? Could that be part of it for you?
I'm not as knowledgeable as some of the others here about these things but it could be that?
In answer to someone's question above about vaccine. I have had both of mine. The first in January, 2nd in March. And I had Pfizer. The heart thing has been ongoing. I'm also very breathless and find it hard to breathe when I'm running! I'm beginning to wonder why I bother!! But I used to love going out for a run. I keep thinking it'll get easier!
Hi. My heart rate is also very high when exercising and I've been wondering if it is linked the the lump on my thyroid. I'm waiting for my biopsy results at the moment, I'm assuming once they've hopefully ruled out cancer they will check my thyroid levels properly. I only run spring/summer because my asthma/bronchiectasis do not respond well to damp and cold weather. This year when I started running again my heart rate has been 200-204 max bpm on all runs. I'm 33 so this is much higher than my max should be. I don't feel worse for it but my face is like a beetroot for a couple of hours after my run.
It will be interesting to find out if there is a link to being under medicated as you say, as I am not on any thyroid medication.
Let me know how you get on with your blood test results.
