Background : I have central hypothyroidism with Hashi antibodies too, I am also coeliac
I am currently on 125mcg thyroxine, free T4/T3 levels are rising (TSH low, but ignoring as is central issue)
High am blood cortisol (620), so decided to do a saliva test for cortisol/DHEA, and chose Cambridge nutrition as recommended by thyroid uk and do 2 dhea measurements…..results in photo.
So….despite high blood cortisol, saliva am looks normal , but by 1pm measure is rock bottom and stays there…..?
….most people with that sort of curve seem to have a low dhea….mine is normal, with the ratio to cortisol being the reverse of most people with adrenal “insufficiency “
Any thoughts/experiences/experts.???
Thanks.
