I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2008. I've suffered throughout my pregnancy and postpartum with fluctuating thyroid levels. I am looking for an endo that will prescribe t3 in London, any recommendations by PM would be very very much appreciated.
Additionally - any info on what supplements I should take would be great, I currently take vitamin d3 and b12.

First step is to get FULL thyroid and vitamin testing done after 6-8 weeks minimum on unchanging dose and brand of levothyroxine
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
Which brand
Have you had coeliac blood test done and are you on strictly gluten free diet?
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3
tested. Also EXTREMELY important to retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins
