Hi. Is there any news as to when/if Nature-throid is going to become available again?

Alas, no. And the makers now seem to have been hit with a lawsuit, so it could be a while.

Oh no! Luckily i have a few months supply but the thought of having to change yet again is really daunting, I hope this doesn't go on and on.

Hi Jazzw , have you any idea what the Lawsuit is about? So miss WP Thyroid and would be willing to give a Testimony if it would get us WP and Nature Throid back.

I’m not sure, the details are behind a paywall but if you Google “RLC Nature Throid lawsuit” you might get some sense of it.

The FDA (the US agency for regulating drugs) are really gunning for them. I’m not sure they’ll come back, to be honest. fda.gov/inspections-complia...

While at first read, you think “why didn’t they have proper processes in place?” your next thought is, “are all small pharmaceutical companies hounded like this, or are Big Pharma behind trying to get rid of products like NDT once and for all?”

It certainly does make you wonder if Big Pharma are trying to shut down all competition. That might work if what makes of NDT worked for everyone, but unfortunately they don't! Thanks for information and suggestion Jazzw , I will have a look.

I don't wonder at all if Big Pharma is behind the attempted elimination of NDT. If you think about it...it doesn't just have to do with pushing synthetic T4 meds...it also has to do with all the meds that doctors prescribe because of the illnesses that can happen with the lack of proper thyroid range...IE high blood pressure, weight gain, high cholesterol...on and on. No surprise at all.
