Hey there, just after a bit of advice. I have a blood test booked next Wed at 2.10pm. I usually take my 100mcg of Levothyroxine and 10mcg of Liothyronine first thing in the morning before I eat or drink. Should I hold back on the day of blood test? I’ve previously purchased my T3 medication privately but have managed to get a NHS endocrinologist to agree to supply me on NHS depending on blood results. I feel a lot better after adding in Liothyronine. Have been on levothyroxin for 18years.

A 2.10pm blood draw wont do you any favours if your doctor adjusts dose of thyroid meds by TSH, that is the time of day when TSH is lowest, although taking T3 lowers TSH anyway.
As for timing of meds, adjust them the day before so that the following applies:
Levo - take last dose 24 hours before blood test, so if you are going to do your 2.10pm test then delay your Levo the day before to 2-3pm.
T3 - last dose 8-12 hours before test. If you don't normally split the dose then do so the day before. Split into 2 doses of 5mcg and take the second dose 8-12 hours before your test, so that would mean setting your alarm and taking the second dose in the early hours of the morning between 2am and 6am.
If you can change the time of your test to an early morning one that would be much better for you.
