Good morning. After a few years of stability on Tiromel from Turkey I’ve swapped it for liothyronine because of the bad batches of Tiromel being sold. Although I’ve halved my dose as Liothyronine is very strong, I now have a high heart rate. I’d like to return to Tiromel where I felt well and happy. Does anyone know if the Turkish Tiromel problem has settled down yet?
Does anyone still take Tiromel and where do you buy it? Pkease send a pm.
Many thanks,

I'm not sure what you are taking but Tiromel is liothyronine, T3 is liothyronine so whatever brand of T3 you are taking is liothyronine. Some people find different brands affect them differently, like Levo, so it's probably just that whatever you are taking your body is utilising it more effectively than the Tiromel.
There was mention on the forum that some members found a handful of batches to be ineffective recently, but others with the same batch number didn't have a problem.
If anyone can help with a source of Tiromel they will send you a PM as requested and I will turn off replies so that no information about suppliers is posted here.
