Hi! I hope you are all doing OK today!

Has anyone had positive experiences using Tiromel? I have some on order which I assumed were being sent from Bulgaria, but it looks like it’s actually from Hong Kong. Thanks guys 😀

Hi, I’ve used Tiromel but I don’t like to now. It gives me palpitations. I’m happier with Thybon Henning from Germany. However I find it slims me down unlike the Thybon so it is tempting to use it.

Hope it works ok for you.

Hi bertwillis! Thanks for your reply. Like you I had palpitations with a tiny dose of NDT. I had a weird flutter in my throat too which I found a bit scary. I hear a lot of good stuff about Thybon. Glad you’re doing ok on it!

Yes I’ve found it suits me and is easier to source. I was on Uni-Pharma which I found the best but I cant afford the cost per month for the dose I’m on. As stocks ran low I tried the Mexican cytomel but was quite ill on this so moved over to Titomel.

It’s only 3 euro to buy over the counter in Turkey or about £18 for 100 if purchased online.

Sometimes you do have to try a brand yourself and see how you respond. I’m very sensitive to changes but am doing well in Tiromel x

Hi MissFG, is uni-pharma a brand? Thanks for the reply! I managed to get mine online and just started them. I think I just wanted some positive feedback as I hear mostly about Thybon and wonder if that’s the best stuff! How much are you on?

Uni-Pharma is the Greek brand I think and stocks ran really low a couple of years ago so everyone was in a panic and had to change brands.

I’m on 2 1/2 pills so 62.5mcg. It would cost me about £75 I think on Uni-Pharma a month whereas Tiromel lasts me 40 days for £18 less when I buy them in Turkey if I go on holiday.

I only have palpations when my dose isn’t right or like the Mexican it didn’t suit me but I think that one a few struggled with it.

Tiromel is a good option based on price and sourcing so you just have to see how you respond. Just increase slowly x

Wow 62.5 sounds like loads lol! Whatever works though for you. Thanks for the feedback, really useful to know!

I was really sick when diagnosed so my thyroid doesn’t function now as it took 2.5 years for my immune system to stop attacking my thyroid for me to improve.

I think whilst hashimotos is actively destroying your thyroid you will always feel unwell but that’s just based on my experience.

I think the dose is about right for my size and height. For an equivalent T4 dose I think it’s x 3 so that would be about 187 in Levo. And I’m 5ft 5 and 10 stone.

I’m at the top end of my T3 range and although still have some symptoms which I’ll always have I think this is down to the lateness in catching the disease and treatment. I got other autoimmune diseases as a result so although I’m active and feel so much better aspects my body have been permanently destroyed. But I manage it the best I can and am under rheumatology x

Ah ok sounds like you take T3 only? Sorry to hear you have other stuff happening with you. I should be grateful that I’m not as afflicted as some people on here, but it’s definitely draining feeling rough 24/7 for like, years, lol

Yes sorry I’m on T3 only. Levo did nothing for me so as I increased t3 my Levo dwindled down until I stopped taking it.

It’s a terrible disease and I feel goes so unrecognised by society and the medical profession. It’s hard getting your symptoms under control and life back on track but it’ll happen!

Hi I've only been on Tiromel for about 6 weeks, and I love it, had no problems, my aches and pains are diminishing slowly . I'm on 25mcg Am and 12.5 Pm and will probably increase slightly when I get my next supply. 😊
