I have been on T3/T4 combo under NHS Endo since November. Last results my T3 was just over range so reduced to 10mcg. Taking 62mcg Levo. My T 4 has reduced since last results.
Not sure if I’m in the right path with T3 and doubt if my GP will take over scripts. Endo was supposed to ask them but it’s not in his report. Speaking to him on 26th this month. Any help much appreciated. 😊

So more than 12 hours after your last lio dose. This means that your ft3 result would normally be slightly higher. For me and I stress this is what suits me, I would lower my lio to 3 X 2.5 daily. 6 weeks and bloods later I would increase my levo by either 12.5 or 25mcg.
At this stage what you are doing is trying to alter the doses of lio and levo very slightly one at a time to find a balance that suits you. Some of us who are poor converters or who have had Rai only need a little lio to just to add that little extra. It does take time and patience.
Yes more than 12 hours after last lio dose. I would struggle to divide tablets to 2.5mcg. When I increase levo any higher than 62 mcg palpitations get worse and are worrying. I am 64. I am not familiar with Rai.
RAI is a treatment which is given for hyperthyroidism. It is a guessing game and a juggling act1 I am 65 and it has taken me 18 months to improve my dosing. My initially prescription was for 50mcg levo and 2 x 10mcg lio. I am now on 100mcg levo and 3 x 2.5mcg lio having visited many combinations in-between!
Maybe you only need 5mcg of lio once a day? Each of us has to try and second guess our body!!
Yes that’s how I tested. I only take 10 mcg split between two doses. I can’t understand why T4 has lowered. My last vitamin D result end of December last year was 107 nmol/L (50-200.0)April 2020:- Folate 17.6 ug/L (3.0-17.0) no supplement.
