Online GP medical record access - sudden removal

Do practices ever remove online access?

I had full access set up for myself & my husband for himself.

Seems both me and my husband had access removed, no explanation given.

Has this happened to anyone?

I think if anyone is removed from a forum that a message should be sent to them as to the reason why.

Most forums have rules and if we're newly onto one we may be unaware if we're breaking a rule.

This is GP medical records access, not a forum. I will add info to post. Thanks

Yes, the GPs should have secure access for medical records and no-one should be able to access them except the patient.

We had set up access to documents & test results, but it’s been removed no explanation.

Probably a technical glitch

Ring up surgery and ask

Yes, I will contact them. Has to be by message though as even when you do eventually get through to a person via phone they tell me to do I can’t deal with anything unless it’s logged on online.

The MyGP app was doing a bit of an update the other day and all my access was locked. I checked for App updates, updated it and the access became unlocked again next time I used it. Give it a try - you never know! 😊

I’ll double check device and app updates. Thanks

My on-line access was removed by the surgery after I refused to reduce my levo dose based purely on my TSH result. I pointed out in no uncertain terms that my FT3 was well within the "range" .I later discovered when I went to collect my levo script that this GP had reduced my dose anyway.

So, I was "punished" for daring to question authority by having my access switched off.

🥵🥵🥵

It was reinstated .

How underhand of the GP! Glad access was reinstated. Did you sort out the dosage too?

Yes, the dose was reinstated too. Constant battles with this vile surgery. I tried to change but it's the only one which covers my area.x

Mine disappeared too. I looked up SystemsOnline, put in my password and could then again see my records. I hope this helps you.
