Bloods advice please

I went to collect a blood form from my docs today for something unrelated to thyroid, and the receptionist accidentally gave me a blood form for thyroid panel and iron count as well (an old one) 😬 I know I’m a bit sad, but I was quite excited about this. Probably because asking for blood testing is like asking for actual blood from their veins 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I’ve just started my 6wks of Liothyronine again today after just over a week break (due to endo not prescribing enough and running out) so I was wondering... how long shall I leave it before testing? For a good incite into how my levels are coping with the T3? I was thinking a week maybe?

6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine or T3

Aww that’s disappointing. So this forms pretty useless then. The endo will send me for one in 6wks anyway 😕

You’ll only get an insight into your thyroid status if the lab does the full set of tests.
