TSH 0.04 in 0.35-4.5, T4 13.5 in range 7.70-19 and T3 4.00 in 3.5-7.9. This was on a fasting test. Any comments. I feel okay. If anything a bit pumped up rather than tired.

Thyroid tests. TSH 0.04 in 0.35-4.5
Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
Do you always get same brand
Which brand
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested?
Yes it was done first thing with only water. Did not take dose for 24 hours. My brand is Mercury Pharma and doctor said she was not going to take notice of TSH 0.04 and drop dose but of circulating T4 which was halfway through range. My last test my TSH was almost undetectable apparently and she was happy to leave me on 75 mgs with 100 mg once a week. Vitamin D. I am on calcipos D3 1000 and B12 in range.
T3 4.00 in 4.68-5.1.
Are you sure about that range? Because that means that your FT3 is below range - I take it it is a Free T3? Isn't your doctor concerned about that? If not, she should be.
No she wasn't. She was more worried about 0.04 TSH. Got to retest in 6 months.
Range sorry was 4.20-5.68.
Well, that's still a very strange range. And, your FT3 is still underneath. You really ought to point that out to your doctor because that's just not healthy.
Sorry 3.5-7.8
Oh, that's better! I knew that couldn't be right. I suggest you change it in your main post or you're going to get a lot of misinformed replies tomorrow.
TSH 0.04 (0.35-4.5)
FT4 13.5 (7.7-19) 51.33%
FT3 4 (3.5-7.8) 11.63%
So, as you can see, you are still under-medicated - despite the TSH - and you don't convert very well. I'm surprised you feel ok.
I did ring Doctor and he is an endocrinologist who said we only worry about T3 if it is high as it would indicate overactive thyroid and it only circulates in blood for six hours after taking levothyroxine. So I thought perhaps it was low as I had not taken meds for a day and fasted. I did not tell him that.
What a load of you-know-what!!! lol He dosn't know the difference between T4 and T3. How could it circulate in the blood at all after taking levo? It has to be converted first!!! And, the half-life of T3 is 23 hours, anyway. He has absolutely no idea what he's talking about, so he's just bluffing you, hoping - assuming? - that you won't know any better! Wow! That really is one for the books.
Lol. He definitely studied endocrinology I looked up his details!!!!
