Life long tablets or not

What thyroid condition are you treating?
What treatment have you been prescribed and at what dose?
The results you've given above don't actually cover your thyroid function at all.
As for vitamin D3, your result is not optimal although it isn't as disastrous as some we see on the forum.
What vitamin D supplement are you taking, at what dose, and how many days a week?
For info on how to achieve optimal vitamin D this link is very useful.

Looking at previous post....are you currently taking 50mcg levothyroxine or 25mcg levothyroxine
Were these tests done after 8 weeks on unchanging dose?
Just testing TSH is completely inadequate
And on levothyroxine TSH is completely inadequate
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested.
Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least annually
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin levels
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins

If TPO or TG thyroid antibodies are high this is usually due to Hashimoto’s (commonly known in UK as autoimmune thyroid disease).
About 90% of all primary hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto’s. Low vitamin levels are particularly common with Hashimoto’s. Gluten intolerance is often a hidden issue to.

Vitamin DGP will often only prescribe to bring levels to 50nmol.
Some areas will prescribe to bring levels to 75nmol or even 80nmol

GP should advise on self supplementing if over 50nmol, but under 75nmol (but they rarely do)

Vitamin D and Covid
Hi, I have been taking both for the last 30 years and both have done the job extremely well, it took a little while to sort the correct dose of Levothyroxine for me, now taking 200mcg daily and keeping very well, keep strong, you will see the benefits quite quickly and be kind to yourself on your journey!!
I was told if you need to supplement it’s usually for life, bit of a throwaway comment as you still have to work out what dose you need and then check at intervals that it’s still working for you. We can all be different so can be trial and error. So you need to keep checking your results alongside how you are feeling and take it from there. Our body can be good at telling us something is wrong, often extra tired, so we need to listen and act accordingly by retesting.
