Lab result questions

So, my lab result 8 weeks ago was as follows

T4- 1.2 (range of .8-1.7)

T3- 3.1 (range of 2.0-4.8)

Tsh- 1.35 (range of .45-4.5)

After 8 weeks on 25 MCG Synthroid, (name brand levothyroxine, I’m from U.S)

My results are as follows (different ranges as it’s a different doctor drawing blood now)

Tsh- 1.04

T4- .85 (range of .7- 1.8)

T3- 3.3 (range of 2.2-3.9)

My question is, how can I add T4 to my body and ultimately T4 is what has declined? My T3 has gone up quite a bit, considering the previous range and the current range, and I do feel quite a bit better. Dr office said I could go up to Alternating days of 25mcg and 50mcg if symptoms persisted. There are only a couple symptoms still persisting but overall I feel miles better than 8 weeks ago. I’m debating on going up to see if the symptoms subside, but also afraid of possibly swinging to hypo, as I have finally started to feel a bit more normal. Luckily I have a very understanding private endo here in the U.S who is open to trying armour (already tried, didn’t react well), and T3 as well. T3 I appear to be pretty solid in but T4 could use some work. My question is, would you personally go up based off these numbers and feeling better? Like how much better can I feel? I’m not 100%, maybe 85-90%, but afraid to make change again haha

Were you taking any levo for the first test? If not, why did they give you levo, because your results don't suggest hypothyroidism?

How long a gap did you leave for the second test between your last dose of levo and the blood draw?

Yes I have hashimotos. Sluggishness, tiredness, etc. Based off antibodies and ultrasound. Last dose of Levo was in the morning, blood test was at 11am. I was not taking any Levo before the first test. All of it was out of my system, this was a start fresh baseline after trying armour thyroid. My symptoms have gotten miles better which indicates hashimotos is what was causing it, and I assume it’s how much my T3 has improved.

Well, none of that explains why your FT4 dropped so much when your FT3 went so high. By rights, if you only left about - what? - four hours between your last dose of levo and the blood draw, you should have had a very high FT4. So, that doesn't make any sense.

Are you taking any supplements? B vits or anything?

25mcg is a low dose. Increases are done every 6 weeks until you feel normal. You may need more or less during different times of the year and weightloss/weight gain and if your T4 levels decline. The only way you'll know is by doing it. good luck
