Phasing out one NDT for another

Hi

I'm struggling with a straight switch from Thyroid S to Erfa. I posted earlier this morning about my inability to sleep and racing mind.

I have a very small supply of Thyroid S left over. Is it okay to take a morning dose of Erfa and then afternoon dose of Thyroid S and then gradually switch entirely to Erfa? Want to ease over to the new brand as the straight switch is proving difficult.

I'm on 1.5 grains in the morning and 1 grain in the afternoon.

The alternative is to reduce dose on Erfa and then build back up.

Thanks

I think I would, yes. And maybe to play it extra safe, because you might find Erfa stronger, I ‘d perhaps drop to one grain in the morning and one grain in the evening, just to start with.

Thanks Jazzw,

Things were going well on Thyroid S, now it's back to square 1 - playing with doses etc.

Although also aware that many can't even source NDT!

Genuinely grateful for this site 🙏
