There are a number of Apps that you can use to access your GP digital records. If you are struggling to get access to your medical records with your GP Practice the Evergreen Life will help. I used the support team a few years ago to speak to my Practice who were being difficult. Sometimes Practice staff do not have the technical or legal understanding so just refuse access or say it’s not possible, we don’t have to or it’s not our policy..... etc
Sometimes an independent voice who know your legal rights if access can make a huge difference.
I use this app, to book appointments, access my records and order my repeat prescriptions. Or I did up until a few weeks ago when it stopped working on my phone. I contacted them and their response was to delete and reload the app. I had explained that I have an old phone, and asked had there been a recent update to the app which meant that it no longer worked as my operating system won't upgrade. However they went with the delete and reload option which I'd already done rather than providing an actual answer to my question. I'll have to fire up the computer each time I want to use it now, go through the web page. Unless I dump/replace a phone that has nothing wrong with it except it's old.
Interesting, I have not come across this although I have experienced the same answers from the tech team and I have to be persistent and keep telling them the reply was duplicated. This happens as different team members get a query and don’t realise it’s a follow up. I think there is a phone number you can call so you can speak to a person rather than email if you did that. The alternative is of course to access through the web page but it is a bit of a pain.
