I have a number of books on thyroid and related issues...

Dr James Wilson’s book on Adr3nal Fatigue and Dr PEATFIELDS book ..

In which he recommends Prednisolone low dose for short time to help struggling adrenals...I asked my go for this which he gave me ...but then I read in Dr Wilson’s book that taking this comes at a price..suppressing your own adr3nal action etc...

Dr P refutes this emphatically...it’s all made me feel insecure and undecided..!

Any thoughts anyone..?

I would be wary of taking steroids (prescribed) unless you have absolutely no option as they can affect your bones - as can taking PPIs (also prescribed) as can having thyroid problems although I think that is mainly people who are hyper. It’s all such a minefield and I’m finding that everything does come at a price - unfortunately I didn’t discover that until it was too late.
