Hi,
Does anybody know if Dr Dr Peatfield still sees patients?
Hi,
Does anybody know if Dr Dr Peatfield still sees patients?
I don't think so, I think he's 86 years old!
He's retired. I have wondered if we would ever find out if/when he dies. I know he was very ill when he retired.
Dr Barry Peatfield was a stupendous person who was an excellent doctor who treated his patients according to their symptoms.
I believe he was the 'last of the Old School' of doctors trained upon clinical symptoms to diagnose patients.
One book everyone should read is 'Tears Behind Closed Doors' and I still think that there are a number of situations that are identical in the UK every single day but many patients have no respite due to the guidelines.
I am not sure as I haven't heard. I know he was in his 80's.
I have come across this info:-
Thanks for info. I don't know how that happened. I tried again but nothing links to the Daily Mail.
He is now 84. I hope he is still well.
Yes, and it's a pity that the 'modern day' doctors haven't known how to diagnose/treat without the need for blood tests and he had many successes.
Good to speak to you too, as you've had a long lapse doing a post.
I hope you feel much better now,
Yes, Dr P died and his knowledge along with him, as our "older doctors' had more knowledge and common sense and treated the patients symptoms rather than the result of a blood test.
