TSH/FT3/FT4 levels advice please

Hello, I increased my Levo (now 100mcg daily) two months ago and had my levels rechecked this week in advance of a consultant appointment. Levels have improved to the following:

TSH 0.25 (0.27-4.2) - previously 0.93

FT3 4.68 (3-1-6.8) - previously 4.03

FT4 17.5 (12-22) - previously 13

TSH is fractionally below range but others have increased since last test in August.

Question is, I’m still suffering muscle/joint pain and stiffness (though not so bad). Would a further increase of Levo help or make me hyper? Would LDN or T3 prescriptions help and what are the chances of my consultant even considering that? Are these numbers optimal as they are now? No point in me asking for a change if it’s now what I need, or can I make further changes to improve my levels? Thanks in advance.

I'd say a further increase makes a lot of sense if you're not feeling tip-top.

On your latest results, free T4 is 55% through range and free T3 is 42.7% through range - so there's plenty of "room" before you go over-range. Don't worry about a low TSH - you re only over-medicated when free T3 is over-range, and you're a long way from that. Lots of us like the "frees" to be at least 2/3 through range x

An increase of 12.5mcg would probably be beneficial with your numbers.

Hi, just interested to hear if you increased your meds and if it helped - and if you tried LDN? Thx.
