Hi I’ve just started metavive 2 for 2 days but this morning felt my head was hyper, although it can be without it felt quite agitated so thinking of taking every other day because I’ve heard they are quite strong. Hoping they help just don’t want to feel same as worse tomorrow. I was on thiroyd before.

Although Metavive is a thyroid glandular with no declared hormone content, some members are doing as well on it as they were on NDT. So if you treat it like NDT then you should take a regular daily dose and not take it on alternate days. If you think Metavive ll is too "strong" then you should take Metavive l which is half the dose of Metavive ll, then you could take that daily. Maybe, rather than buying Metavive l you could experiment and try opening the capsule and taking half the powder, reseal the capsule and take the other half the next day.

I was only going to do alternate for a few days until my body got used to it because didn’t like the agitation feeling had before on too much NDT. Not to sure how resealing a capsule would work & taking the powder. I’ll take tomorrow & see how things go & hopefully every day after that be fine. Thanks

But you cannot alternate days with T3. And Metavive has a T3 element. Even for a few days.

I've bought empty capsules from Amazon so that I can take a dose of Metavive that falls between the sizes of the capsules. It's very easy to open the capsules and divide the power up.

Hi I’m taking one Metavive 1 & one Metavive 2 for a few days now but still struggling. I’m not sure if I’ll up it later in week to 4 altogether. Thanks for asking.
