How have people found Tru-Thyroid tablets? My friend is considering ordering 2 years' worth at 2 grains (4 tablets) per day. He is fishing around for an alternative to the TR Man tablets he had previously which he cannot now obtain.

Has your friend already tried TruThyroid? If not I wouldn't be ordering so many until he knows if he does well on it. I think there have been problems with the original batch produced and people were complaining, I understand that changes have been made so it's best to make sure it suits him before making a big order.

Thank you for the advice SeasideSusie, which I will pass on. It seems like a nightmare situation for everyone. Do you see an light at the end of the tunnel?

I totally agree with SeasideSusie. I'm trying to change over from the new recipe Metavive. Too early to report back. I'm certainly glad I've only bought 1 box so far.

Can I suggest that you use the HealthUnlocked Search box to find posts about TruThyroid. Try searching for 'Tru-Thyroid' and 'Tru Thyroid' as well as 'TruThyroid' though what you search for can sometimes bring up some of the other variations.

I have heard that Thyroid-S is back in production but there are so many back orders that a limited number is being sent rather than the amount actually ordered, presumably so that more people can at least have some.

I have also heard that Thyroid-S will not be available until next month.

This is, of course, hearsay as I have no contact with any suppliers of Thai NDT so it's difficult to know what to believe.

I read on two sites that production will not normalize until March or April of 2021. They have so many back orders that it will be a while before they can throw it out there. My supplier doesn't answer emails and his Facebook page is down.... so who knows what is really happening. I just hope we can get our NDT soon.

I don't think anyone knows for certain, unless a person is actually in touch with the producer then it's all hearsay.

Me too. This is disappointing as I have paid for 500.

I bought some tru thyroid not long after they came out. How do you know if I got a bad batch? Did they comment on it ?

How do you know if I got a bad batch?

You'd become symptomatic I imagine, or if you test a few weeks after starting it you'd see it in your results. The others had very hypo test results, their TSH went way over range (double figures), FT4/FT3 went below range.

Tough to say because this is my first time self medicating really.

On 8 tablets so far and still feeling cold. Tsh was 3.4 last time i had it checked

Did you test before starting TT?

How long have you been on it?

Have you retested?

It seems that for some the test results are showing very poor before people are feeling symptomatic.

Been on tru for about 3 months or so. Tsh was about 3.2 before starting. Even though my tsh is higher, my ft3 is higher too.. Dunno whats going on there but id say its definitely got some thyroid hormone in it

But its not as potent as i thought it would be. Im on 4 grains right now. At this rate i honestly might need 5-6 grains

Hi... When i was in Bangkok in late 2019, i managed to get one of the last remaining bottles of Thiroyd. I went to Greater Pharma and was told that they would no longer be producing it. Gutted was an understatement because i did so well on Thiroyd. Then i heard about Tru Thyroid. Let me tell you that these are nothing more than sawdust made into pills. I tried these for about 6 months. I gained about 12kg and my TSH shot up to 11! My hair began to thin and all the usual hypo symptoms started. I increased from

4 tablets to 6 and give it 2 more months. Sadly, today my TSH came back as 16! So these pills are a fraud. I have switched back to synthetic t3/t4. Already i am feeling more balanced.

Question is, what the fudge do these pills contain? To anyone who is considering buying these tablets - DON’T BOTHER!!!!
