Changing from Levothyroxine to NDT

I've decided I want to change from Levo to NDT and am curious to know peoples experiences if they've done this. Mainly was any weight loss experienced? I'm at the point where my weight is going up and up no matter what I eat. I was 150lbs this time last year and now I'm 190 - I'm only 5ft3 so this change is having such an affect on my knees not to mention my mental health - I cry every day at my reflection.

I'm also looking at going gluten and dairy free - at the moment I'll try anything.

Recent bloods posted for info. Vitamins haven't been tested since Feb 2020 and are as follows.

Serum B12 598 ng/L (197 - 771)

Serum Folate 12.8 ng/ml (2 - 18.7)

Serum Ferritin 43.5 ng/ml (20 - 130)

Any help would be greatly received.

Was 73 nmol/L on 17/04/18. Dr has refused to test again as "you can't overdose". Which I now know to be untrue. I supplement with DLUX 3000 vitamin D spray when I remember. I've been meaning to do a test so thanks for the links.

My sympathy to you regarding the weight gain. I too look in the mirror sideways and feel disgusting. I would try NDT if I could. Hope you feel better as soon as possible. Take care.
