I've had results from a routine blood test a week ago and it has come back with TSH at 0.05 and T3 level 7.14
I gave been experiencing irregular heartbeat palpitations mainly on exertion and seemed to get worse if I panic about them
I'm showing no other symptoms of hyperthyroidism, could these be related or is it just the anxiety of it all. I've had an ecg and that was normal but I wasn't experiencing the palpitations at the time.
I'm 2 months postpartum and had a thyroid function test 4 years ago which was completely normal

This could be postpartum thyroiditis which can resolve spontaneously or it might be autoimmune hyperthyroidism. Your doctor can give you a beta blocker such as propranolol which protects the heart and reduces your T3 levels. They can then monitor you in a month or two to see how you are going.
They offers me a beta blocker but I'm nervous because my resting heart rate is quite low normally. Its just below 60 so I don't want it do go any lower!
They could give you a lower dose as a compromise. I don't know how much propranolol slows the heart v. its effect on reducing T4 to T3 conversion. Other beta blockers such as sotalol tend to regulate the heart rather than slowing it. I'm definitely not an expert on cardiac issues, just putting across my limited knowledge.
I see in another of your posts you have raised cholesterol. This can be linked to being HYPO. I think it would be good to rule out Hashimotos - auto-immune thyroid - when it is possible to swing from Hyper to Hypo with test results.
Have you been tested for B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD ? If they are low in range then this too could be a cause of palpitations.
I had a similar problem last year, I’m HYPOthyroid for over 10 years. Had all the tests in the world and saw 2 cardiologists. Turns out the problem was that I had recently started drinking coffee.
Cut out coffee and problem went away.
Sometimes there’s a simple solution that is diet related, so do try cutting out caffeine first and see if it helps.
Hi. I have Graves’ disease. My heart rate has gone off 3 times. First time was in the gym so like yourself so under exertion. Would be good to get antibody testing and also monitor when the palpitations occur so you can collate this data when you see anyone medically. Try not to stress. I was given a tip and it actually works. Trust me I’m not into this sort of thing but it has dropped my heart rate 10 bpm when I use it.
