Need advice on latest results to check what you think.
Feeling generally much better than on lower doses, fewer symptoms, but still a few remain, including irregular periods (but that could be perimenopause, and could also be causing lower iron levels), hair loss, dry skin, cold hands, top of range cholesterol (despite being dairy/gluten free and rarely drink alcohol and exercise regularly), some weight gain (despite a healthy diet). odd eyelid switch (have it after a few weeks of a dosage increase), occasional blurry vision, foggy thinking/memory.
My last two tests were:
20/07/20 (9 weeks @100mcg Levothyroxine)
TSH 0.54 (0.27-4.2)
FT4 15.4 (12-22)
FT3 3.5 (3.1-6.8)
14/09/20 (8 weeks @125mcg Levothyroxine)
TSH 0.69 (0.27-4.2)
FT4 18.1 (12-22)
FT3 4 (3.1-6.8)
I was advised to leave the testing to 8-9 weeks to allow my symptoms and the TSH to respond to the change.
Vit D near 100 and supplemented.
Should I try an increase or is there a problem with T4 to T3 conversion?
Thank you in advance

Weirdly your TSH has gone up (albeit only a bit) since you increased your levo. Were both tests done at the same time of day?
Anyway, your latest results show free T4 at 62% through range and free T3 only 24.3% through range. So both are lower than I personally would like - and free T3 is much lower.
As you're not feeling great either, I'd go back to the GP and try and get an increase in levo - and start the discussion about a lio trial ....
You need to be referred to a T3-friendly endo for lio, so worth getting the list from Dionne at Thyroid UK - tukadmin@thyroiduk.org - and a separate post here asking for recommendations near-ish to you. You don't have to see the nearest person, but must obv be reasonably convenient. If there's no-one near you, worth looking at the thumbnail biogs of endos at nearest hospitals and seeing if any mention thyroid, or it they're really all just diabetes specialists.
Thank you for that, yes similar times of day etc. and yes I am thinking about the Lio. It’s as if there’s something missing from the Levothyroxine that can’t be made up by the body.
