So 2 months have gone by and I met up with my endo today. She put me on Levo 50mg and told me to take them on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week for 10 weeks until I get another blood test. She also referred me to a psychiatrist for my anxiety.
Was wondering what the optimal time I should take them as I have a very messed up sleep schedule (I mainly sleep during the day).
Additionally, I see many people who are hypo have trouble losing weight but I'm the opposite? I've lost 10kgs the past three years, and I have a hard time gaining weight. I'm scared of losing more weight. Is this also normal for hypothyroidism?
TSH: 4.7 (0.5-4.0)
FT4: 16 (10-20)
FT3: 6 (3.5-6)

Others will be along more knowledgeable to comment on your results but usually levo is best taken in morning on empty stomach leaving an hour before food, also do you know if they tested your antibodies and are these results on no medication?
Yes, I fasted when doing the blood test with no medication. I'm not sure if they tested my antibodies this time, but I did have my antibodies tested last year and it was in range.
I don't know as it is odd to have such a high T3 with a TSH like that. I was hoping someone else might comment. Have you had your adrenals tested? Your cortisol rythm maybe odd if you say you're sleeping during the day. You may even have low cortisol if you are having bad anxiety and loosing weight like that. How is your blood pressure? Do you get bothered by adrenaline or palpitations?
Hello, thank you for replying. I also posted this on reddit and someone replied by saying there might be something wrong with my hypothalamus or I have a pituitary tumor.. I'm honestly quite scared now, not sure why my endo didn't say anything about this.
I have not gotten my adrenals checked, but I do have heart palpitations which my doctor say is from anxiety. My blood pressure is fine.
Also about what range should I expect my T3 to be considering my high TSH?
Normally with a TSH like that your T3 would be low because your pituitary thinks you're hypo. I don't think you should worry about tumors etc as your TSH would be the opposite. My thoughts with the sleeping, anxiety and palpations it's your adrenals and low cortisol. I would suggest you get a saliva testing kit and look at your cortisol.
