MCAS (Mast Cell Activation) Consultant - help!

Hello everyone, I am hoping someone can help me. It's been suggested that my adult son might have MCAS. He is waiting for a telephone appointment with the GP, and is hoping for a referral. Does anyone know what area of medicine a this consultant would be working?

I understand this is a relatively newly recognised condition. Any information, or links to follow would be very gratefully received.

Hi mast cell activation syndrome ussally treated under a imuoligist. Dr croom at Sprire hospital nottigham deal with it she is private doctor though I have still to find a mcas doc on NHS good luck.
